CUMILLA, June 9, 2025 (BSS) - Jamaat-e-Islami central Nayeb-e-Ameer and former lawmaker Dr Syed Abdullah Md Taher today said that most of the confusion has been cleared following the announcement of the polls date.

"The Chief Adviser has declared the timeframe for the national elections. After the announcement, most of the confusion regarding the polls has been cleared," he told an Eid reunion programme of the Ujirpur Union Jamaat unit at the auditorium of Miabazar College in Chauddagram upazila of the district.

He mentioned that he has already started his campaign from Miabazar Ujirpur following the announcement, adding that it will continue.

Cumilla South District unit former Jamaat ameer Abdus Sattar, Metropolitan secretary Mahbubur Rahman, Chauddagram Upazila Jamaat ameer Mahfuzur Rahman, former ameer VP Sahab Uddin, secretary Belal Hossain, and industrialist Kamal Uddin, among others, were present at the event, with Jamaat Uzirpur Union unit ameer Maulana Abul Hashem in the chair.
