BGB recovers ammunition from Borokal

RANGAMATI, Mar 14, 2025 (BSS) - The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today recovered 11 rounds of ammunition from the Borokal area here.

Assistant Director of BGB 45 Battalion Md Yeasin Hossain said that based on information about an exchange of fire between the members of United People's Democratic Front and the Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti, a special team comprising personnel from BGB 45 Battalion and Ansar 7 Battalion conducted an operation in the area on Thursday night and recovered the ammunition.

He added that the BGB remains committed to ensuring security along the border in the hilly areas.
