50 held for creating unstable situation in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, March 14, 2025 (BSS) - Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested 50 people on charge of their involvement in creating unstable situation in the port city. 

Several teams of the CMP conducted the drives in the last 24 hours ending at 12.30am today and arrested them.

Police claimed the detained people were trying to create unstable situation across the country.

They have been implicated in several cases under the Anti- Terrorism Act for attacks and other criminal activities during the student- led mass uprising.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media and PR) Mahmuda Akter of the CMP confirmed the matter to BSS.
