Magura rape victim’s gayebana janaza held at JU

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Mar 14, 2025 (BSS) – Magura rape victim’s gayebana janaza (absentee funeral prayer) was held at Jahangirnagar University today.

The child died on March 13 while undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka.

Jahangirnagar University unit of Bangladesh Democratic Students’ Council organized the prayers following the ‘Gano Iftar  programme’ at the central playground of the university.

JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Kamrul Ahsan, Pro VC (Academic) Professor Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Pro VC (Administration) Professor Dr. Sohel Ahmed, Proctor Professor Dr. AKM Rashidul Alam and students, teachers, among others, of the university attended the prayers.
