DHAKA, March 16, 2025 (BSS) – An unidentified young woman was
crushed to death under the wheels of a speeding car in the city’s
Rajarbagh area early today.
 
The incident took place around 1:30 am today, said Shahjahanpur Police
Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Riazul Islam.

The identity of the deceased woman aged about 22 could not be known,
he said.

Police recovered the body from the spot around 2:30 am and sent it to
Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy on Sunday
morning after completion of the legal process.

The vehicle could not be traced immediately, but efforts are underway to
identify the vehicle and the deceased woman, police said.
