DHAKA, March 16, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Police Women's Welfare
Association (PUNAK) has provided financial assistance to the students
and public injured in the July revolution.

PUNAK President Afroza Helen handed over the financial aid to 250
students and people undergoing treatment at the National Institute of
Ophthalmology and Hospital (NIOH) and the National Institute of
Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) this (Sunday)
afternoon.

She inquired about them and talked to the on duty doctors about their
treatment, said a press release of the Police Headquarters.

PUNAK Vice President Irin Rahman, General Secretary Kaniz Fatema,
Joint General Secretary Touhida Nupur and others and the doctors on-
duty were present at the time.

It is worth noting that PUNAK has been providing aids to the injured in
the anti-discrimination student movement since the very beginning.
