Tarique Rahman sends Eid gift to Magura rape victim’s family

DHAKA, Mar 17, 2025 (BSS)- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman sent a gift to the family of the minor child of Magura who was raped and later died from injuries.

On behalf of Tarique Rahman, BNP leader Advocate Newaz Halima Arli handed over the gift to her mother at Zaria village in Sreepur upazila of Magura this morning, according to BNP media wing.

The 8-year-old baby was raped and severely tortured in her sister-in-laws house in Magura recently. She died on March 13 while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka. 

Earlier, Tarique Rahman had announced taking the responsibility of everything including the child's treatment.
