DMP files 1582 cases for traffic rules violation in city

DHAKA, Mar 18, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,582 cases for violating traffic rules after conducting drives across the capital on yesterday.

In addition, the DMP traffic officials also have dumped 199 vehicles and wrecked other 54 during the drive, according to a press release issued by DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

These cases have been filed after conducting operation by the DMP's traffic division on Monday.

The DMP emphasized that these enforcement drives would continue to maintain order and discipline on the streets of Dhaka.
