GAIBANDHA, April 15, 2025 (BSS) - Former lawmaker from Gaibandha-2 constituency (Gaibandha Sadarupazila) Shah Sarwar Kabir has been arrested from Eidga area of Dinajpur town this evening.

Detective branch of Dinajpur police arrested him from the area while he was loitering there in the evening.

Superintendent of police (SP) Md. Marufat Hossain confirmed it and said he has been arrested in reference of two cases filed with Gaibandha Sadar Thana.

Tomorrow, he would be handed over to Gaibandha Sadar Thana police for next course of legal action, he said, adding that he was organizing secretary of district Awami League.
