Tarique Rahman stands by slain child Jui's family in Natore

NATORE, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today stands by the family of slain girl child Jui at Baraigram Upazila of the district, providing financial assistance. 

On behalf of Tarique Rahman, local BNP leaders reached the victim's family house at Garfa village of Chandai union in the Upazila and handed over Tk 50,000 to her family this afternoon. 

Natore district BNP member and Special PP of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Advocate Abdul Kader Mia, former Upazila Jubo Dal president Atiqur Rahman Belal, former union BNP president Hasinur Rahman and former general secretary Abdul Awal were present.

A first-grade student of a local madrasa, Jui Khatun (07), daughter of Malaysian expatriate Jahidul Islam of Garfa village, was found dead at a corn field in Katakhali area of Chatmohar upazila of Pabna district on Tuesday after she went missing from Baraigram Upazila a day before.

Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohor police station Md Monjurul Alam said the deceased's mother already filed a murder case as police are yet to nab the criminals.
