DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today showed 13 people, including Salman F Rahman, Anisul Huq and Advocate Qamrul Islam, in different cases filed over murder and attempt to murder committed during the July-August mass uprising.

The other accused, who were shown arrested in different cases, are Hasanul Haque Inu, Rashed Khan Menon, Shajahan Khan, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Abdullah Al Islam Jakob, Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Mozammel Haque Babu, Shakil Ahmed and Farzana Rupa.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Minhazur Rahman passed the orders as police produced the accused before the court and pleaded to show them arrested in the cases.

Of the 13, Anisul was shown arrested in a case filed with Shahbagh Police Station, one with Mugda Police Station and five with Jatrabari Police Station. Palak was shown arrested in a case filed with Mugda Police Station, three cases filed with the Jatrabari Police Station. Shajahan Khan was shown arrested in three cases filed with the Jatrabari Police Station. 

Salman F Rahman, Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Hasanul Haque Inu, Rashed Khan Menon and Abdullah Al Islam Jakob were shown arrested in a case filed with the Jatrabari Police Station. Mozammel Haque Babu, Shakil Ahmed and Farzana Rupa were shown arrested in a case filed over the murder of Imran Hasan with Jatrabari Police Station.
