NAOGAON, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested Jahid Hossen, general secretary of the Badalgachhi upazila unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), from the Bridge area of the upazila during a special raid this morning.

Officer-in-Charge of Badalgachhi Police Station Shahajan Ali said that, acting on a tip-off, police conducted the raid in the area and arrested Jahid on charges of attacking students during the July mass uprising.

He was sent to jail after being produced before a court.
