Miscreants set fire to Manabendra Ghosh’s house in Manikganj

DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS)- Miscreants set fire to the residence of Manabendra Ghosh in the Ghosh Bazar area of Garpara Union in Manikganj Police Station.

They set fire to the store room of a semi-tin shed. The fire destroyed valuables including beds, ceiling fan, stand fan, generator, motorcycle, gas cylinder and other essential goods, causing damage of about Taka 30 lakh around 3:30 am last night.

A case has been filed with Manikganj Police Station.

Police have arrested three accused for their alleged involvement in the incident. Police teams from Manikganj Police Station and the District Detective Branch of police are conducting raids in this regard.

Manikganj Superintendent of Police Yesmin Khatun along with other senior officers of the district police inspected the scene.

After the inspection, the Superintendent of Police spoke to the family members of Manabendra Ghosh and people of adjacent to the house.
