Court freezes 13 bank accounts of Tarique Siddique, family members

DHAKA, May 14, 2025 (BSS) – A court here today ordered to freeze 13 bank accounts of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s defence and security adviser Tarique Ahmed Siddique, his wife Shaheen Siddique and daughter Nurin  Siddique.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, following  a petition of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The anti-graft body on January 27 filed four cases against 19 people including Tarique Ahmed Siddique for embezzling TK 812 crore from four projects in three airports in the country.
