DHAKA, May 18, 2025 (BSS) – A total of 1492 more crime suspects were arrested in a nationwide operation   in the last 24 hours.

Of the detainees, 925 were apprehended in previous cases or outstanding warrants and 567 others on various criminal charges, said a press release of the police headquarters.

During the operation, one shotgun, 14 bullets ,four sharp weapons and two axes were seized.
