Three held for setting fire to bus

DHAKA, May 19, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested three persons on charges of setting fire to a bus of Subajatra Paribhan in the Bangsal thana area here.

The arrestees are M Deen Islam, alias Antar, 19; Amir Hamza, 19; and M Akash Rahman Tanvir, 22.

On a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the Dakshin Manda area under the Mughda Police Station on Sunday, according to a press release.
These accused, along with other unidentified persons, allegedly set fire to a bus in a planned way by pouring petrol recently.

A case was filed with Bangsal Police Station in this connection.
