Man held with forged travel docs at HSIA

DHAKA, May 19, 2025 (BSS) - A man was detained today at the domestic terminal
of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) for attempting to travel
using forged documents, including a boarding pass, ticket, and passport.

The individual, identified as Aman, was apprehended this afternoon at the
domestic terminal while intending to board a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight
bound for Cox's Bazar.

"Airport authorities immediately handed him over to the airport magistrate
for further legal action," HSIA Executive Director Group Captain SM Ragib
Samad told BSS.

Airport security remains on high alert, and any attempt to breach aviation
protocol with fraudulent means will be dealt with strictly, he added.
