Tarique Rahman inquires about July uprising injured Rakibul

DHAKA, May 20, 2025 (BSS) - BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman has inquired about July mass uprising injured Rakibul Hasan.

At his directive, a delegation of Amra BNP Paribar led by its chief adviser and BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed met Rakibul's family members at Tetultala area of Khilkhet in the capital this morning.

Amra BNP Paribar convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, advisors - Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, Md. Abul Kashem and Engineer Mostafa-e-Zaman Selim, member secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, members - Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Farhad Ali Sajeeb and Shahadat Hossain were present.

The leaders conveyed the message of greetings and sympathy from BNP Acting Chairman and expressed their determination to stand by Rakibul Hasan in any need.

On July 18, during the mass uprising against the Sheikh Hasina government, Swechchhasebak Dal activist and electrician Rakibul Hasan was injured on the ECB intersection in Dhaka.
