DHAKA, May 21, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of police today arrested the ringleader of an organized gang Md. Sagar Ali (40) along with huge forged public documents from the capital's Uttara area.
A smart team of Uttara DB arrested Sagar in a raid at house number 25, road number 14, Sector 3, Uttara around 5:25 in the afternoon, Deputy Commissioner of DB Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed.
During the operation, huge quantity of fake certificates, stamps, seals, forms and other equipment of various universities and institutions were seized from Sagar's possession.
Sagar has long been involved in forging important documents of the state and various educational institutions including certificates of various universities, police clearance, birth and citizenship certificates.
A case was lodged in this connection.
