DHAKA, May 22, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Social and Cultural Organization' (JASAS) has taken up a 2-day programme to observe the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.

The decision was taken at a joint meeting held at the BNP central office at city’s Naya Paltan area.

Convener of the JASAS Central Committee and Member of the BNP’s National Executive Committee Film Actor Helal Khan chaired the meeting while JASAS Central Committee Member Secretary Jakir Hossen Rokon moderated the function.
According to the programmes, floral wreaths would be placed at the mausoleum of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e- Bangla Nagar in the morning on May 30. Later, a Doa Mahfil will be held there.
 
Besides, photographs on the life and works of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman would be displayed at Gallary No-5 of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on May 31.
The joint meeting also urged all city, district, upazila and municipalities units of the organization to observe the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman with due respect,
