Central coordination council meeting held for Army-run educational institutions

DHAKA, May 22, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day long meeting of the Central Coordination Council of 63 cantonment public and English medium schools and colleges run by the Bangladesh Army was ended today.

The meeting was held at the Army Multipurpose Complex in Dhaka Cantonment, said an ISPR release here.

The coordination meeting was attended by the President of the Central Coordination Council of Army-run Cantonment Public and English Medium Schools and Colleges and Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh Army Lieutenant General Mizanur Rahman Shamim as the chief guest.

The meeting discussed the overall issues including policy-making of educational institutions run by Bangladesh Army and took important decisions.

In addition, the principals of the concerned institutions and educational institutions were awarded with honorary mementos and certificates for various achievements of the educational institutions.

The coordination meeting was attended by the chief coordinator and director, directorate of education; director general, directorate of military lands and cantonments and other military officials including the principals of all educational institutions run by the Bangladesh Army.
