Tarique Rahman stands by July injured Rakibul Hasan

DHAKA, May 25, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended his sympathy and support

for Rakibul Hasan, a July uprising injured.

The injured Rakibul, an electrician and Swechchhasebak Dal activist, was reportedly attacked by members of the ruling party's student wing Chhatra League and police forces during a movement at the ECB premises in the capital on July 18.

As per under Tarique Rahman's directives, the delegation of 'Amra BNP Paribar', a cell of BNP, visited Rakibul’s family today in the Tetultala area of Khilkhet here.

The visiting delegation was led by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Amra BNP Paribar Chief Adviser Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

He was accompanied by the 'Amra BNP Paribar' convener and journalist Atiqur Rahman Rumon, 'Amra BNP Paribar' advisors Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, Md Abul Kashem and Engineer Mostafa-e-Zaman Selim.

Member Secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun and members Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Farhad Ali Sajeeb and Shahadat Hossain were also part of the delegation.

During the visit, they talked to Rakibul Hasan’s mother, delivering a personal message of solidarity and good wishes from Tarique Rahman.

They assured the family of continued support and reaffirmed their commitment to stand by Rakibul in his recovery and beyond.

Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal Vice President Dr Zahid, Chhatra Dal central committee Vice-President Habibul Bashar, Joint Secretary Hasnain Nahian Sajeeb and Chhatra Dal leaders Mashiur Rahman Mahan and Abdullah Al Misbah, were also present, among other, on the occasion.
