DHAKA, May 31, 2025 (BSS) - Nagorik Oikya will celebrate its 13th founding anniversary tomorrow with a month-long series of programmes.
 
To mark the day, the national and party flags will be hoisted at the party's central office. Tributes will also be paid to all martyrs of the struggle for human rights from 1952 to 2024. 

Due to the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, the central programmes will be held in the last week of June. All units of Nagorik Oikya, including district and upazila branches, have been instructed to celebrate the occasion, according to a press release issued today. 

Nagorik Oikya commenced its journey on June 1, 2012. Since its inception, Nagorik Oikya has fought uncompromisingly against the autocratic Sheikh Hasina government. The party said it remains committed to its struggle for democratic transformation in the country.
