DHAKA, June 4, 2025 (BSS) - In observance of the Holy Eid-ul Azha, the import-export activities through Sonamasjid Land Port will remain suspended for 10 days (June 14) from tomorrow.

However, the immigration department will be normal and the travelers carrying passports will be able to travel as usual. 

Sonamasjid Import-Export Group and C&F (clearing and forwarding) Agent Association jointly confirmed this today.

In this regard, President of Sonamasjid Import-Export Group Md. Ekramul Haque said they took this decision to facilitate and make the Eid journey easy for all who work here.

Manager of Panama Port Mainul Islam said activities related to import and export will remain suspended from tomorrow to June 14, but the immigration activities through the port will continue.

"The port will return to normalcy with full workflow from June 15," he added.
