DHAKA, June 15, 2025 (BSS) - Gono Forum Founder Dr Kamal Hossain today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of valiant Freedom Fighter, former lawmaker and Gono Forum President Mostafa Mohsin Montu.

In a condolence message, Dr Kamal Hossain said Mostafa Mohsin Montu was a patriot, a democracy-minded person, a lifelong fighter and a leader of the masses. He cherished the spirit of the Liberation War throughout his life, he added.

He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Mostafa died at a city hospital at 5pm today.

His body will be kept in front of Central Shaheed Minar at 2pm tomorrow to pay last respect to him. Later, he will be buried at Banani Graveyard, said a press release.
