DHAKA, June 16, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar has called for greater unity among all political parties to resist fascism.

Speaking as the chief guest at an Eid rally at the Ula Majidiya Islamia Dakhil Madrasa Maidan in Dumuria Upazila, Khulna on Monday afternoon, Professor Parwar stated, "The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami has called for national unity to build a fascism-free humane Bangladesh."

He emphasized the party's willingness to collaborate with any political party in pursuit of the nation's greater interest, saying, "Jamaat is ready to unite with any political force, if necessary, to fulfill the aspirations of the people and ensure national unity".

Highlighting the ongoing efforts to form a broader alliance among patriotic and democratic Islamic parties, he said such unity was vital to protect the nation's ideals and values.

"To preserve the gains made through the sacrifices of students and the people during the July-August Revolution, the perpetrators of fascism must be brought to justice."

All political parties must act collectively to guide the country's politics in a positive direction, he added.
