DHAKA, June 17, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day tree plantation programme is set to begin in different parts of Dhaka city marking the birth anniversary of renowned physician and cardiologist Dr. Zubaida Rahman, wife of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman and Chief Patron of 'Amra BNP Paribar'.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Chief Adviser to Amra BNP Paribar Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi will lead the tree plantation programme starting this afternoon in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. 

BNP Joint Secretary General and Adviser to 'Amra BNP Paribar' Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie, BNP Treasurer M Rashiduzzaman Millat, Amra BNP Paribar Convener journalist Atiqur Rahman Rumon and its other advisers and members will present on the occasion, said an official release signed by journalist Jahidul Islam Rony. 

All are requested to attend the inauguration ceremony of the tree plantation programme on the premises of graveyard of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar at 5:30 pm today.
