DHAKA, June 17, 2025 (BSS) - Leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have been urged not to be misled by a fake press release circulated on the social media platform Facebook using a forged signature of Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the party.

In a press release issued today, Rizvi said, "It is hereby informed to the leaders and workers at all levels of the party that a vested quarter circulated a fake press release on Facebook on June 15 using a forged signature of mine. The content is completely false, fabricated and ill-motivated."

The statement further asserted that the BNP office never issued the fake press release, and it was completely without basis.
