BNP leader Dulu, wife acquitted of graft charges

DHAKA, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today acquitted BNP Executive Committee Member Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu and his wife Sabina Yasmin of graft and tax evasion charges.

Judge Md Abul Kashem of Dhaka Special Judge Court-1 pronounced the judgment, acquitting the couple as the charges were not proven, Court Clerk Rajib De confirmed the matter to BSS.

According to case documents, Dulu and his wife were accused of amassing illegal wealth worth Taka 8.44 crore and keeping it in their possession. They also allegedly concealed information about wealth worth Taka 5 crore.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case against them in April, 2007.
