DHAKA, June 30, 2025(BSS)-The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) today summoned former defence and security adviser Tarique Ahmed Siddique, his wife Shaheen Siddique and Chairman of Basundhara Group Ahmed Akbar Sobhan.

Tarique Ahmed Siddique, a retired major general of Bangladesh Army, was the defence and security adviser to the former prime minister Sheikh Hasina for long.

 Deputy Director (DD) of the Public Relations Department of the ACC Md Akterul Islam said that they have been asked to appear before  the head office of the ACC to give their statements regarding the allegations of corruptions.
