Palestinian Ambassador meets Hefazat Ameer in Fatikchhari

CHATTOGRAM, July 7, 2025 (BSS) - Palestinian Ambassador to Bangladesh Yousuf S.Y. Ramadan paid a courtesy call on Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Ameer Allama Shah Muhibullah Babunagri at Al Jamiatul Islamia Azizul Uloom Babunagri Madrasa in Fatikchari upazila of the district today.

Hefazat leaders and madrasa authorities welcomed the ambassador with flowers. 

Maulana Mufti Ayub Babunagri, son of Hefazat Ameer, mentioned that the Ambassador was welcomed upon his arrival at the madrasa premises in the morning.  

Later, he exchanged greetings with Ameer Allama Muhibullah Babunagri and inquired about his physical condition.

During the meeting, Ambassador Yusuf Ramadan highlighted the latest situation in Palestine and sought prayers for the oppressed Palestinians.
 
The Ameer and the Ambassador also discussed various issues related to the interests of Islam and the Muslim Ummah. 

Later, Ambassador Yusuf Ramadan addressed a meeting, attended by students and teachers of the madrasa.

Muhaddis of the madrasa, Allama Shah Habibullah Babunagri, central Nayeb-e-Ameer of Hefazat Allama Shah Ayub Babunagri and the literary affairs secretary Allama Harun Azizi Nadvi, among others, were present. 


Speaking to journalists, the Ambassador said the position of the people of Bangladesh, the government, and particularly Hefazat, against the Israeli aggression is very important for us. We are grateful for this unity and support.

Hefazat's central leader and also senior madrasa teacher Mufti Iqbal Azimpuri said the Ambassador thanked Hefazat Ameer for voicing in favor of the oppressed Palestinians.
