BNP vice chairman Altaf visits Nurul Haque at DMCH

DHAKA, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) - Former Home and Commerce Minister and BNP vice chairman, Air Vice Marshal (retd) Altaf Hossen Chowdhury, today visited Gono Odhikar Parishad president Nurul Haque Nur at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Altaf arrived at the hospital around 12 noon to inquire about Nur's condition. 

During the visit, he spoke with the attending doctors and urged them to ensure the best possible treatment for Nur's quick recovery.

Nurul Haque Nur was critically injured during a clash at Bijoynagar in the capital on the night of August 29, in which at least 50 people were hurt. He was initially taken to Islami Hospital and later transferred to DMCH.

He is currently undergoing treatment at DMCH.
