NOAKHALI, Oct 23, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council Member
Zainul Abedin Farroque today said that his party would accept the people's
verdict in the upcoming February election and remain united to continue
development activities.

He made the remarks while addressing an educational materials distribution
programme among newly enrolled students of Tahirpur Tamirul Ummah Islamia
Alim Madrasa in Kadra Union under Senbag upazila of Noakhali district.

Farroque said, "The decision on who will come to power will be made in
February. The election under the interim government led by Chief Adviser
Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will be free and fair because Sheikh Hasina is
no longer in power, and her goons are not there anymore to stuff ballot boxes
at night or seize polling centers".

He added, "For the last 16 years, Jamaat leaders were executed, and thousands
of BNP leaders, activists, and students were killed or tortured in secret
detention."

"Now everything is equal. Though we may have ideological differences, we will
accept whatever verdict the people give and work together for the development
of our area," he said.

Chaired by the madrasa's president Ataur Rahman Sujon, it was also addressed
by Noakhali district BNP member Abdullah Al Mamun, Madrasa principal Mojibur
Rahman Ekrami, and Upazila Freedom Fighters' Commander convenor M A Azim
Chowdhury.

Later, the guests distributed educational materials, including school bags,
notebooks, pens, and identity cards, among the first-year Alim students.
