BNP revokes expulsion of seven leaders

DHAKA, Oct 24, 2025 (BSS)- BNP has revoked the expulsion orders of seven of its leaders, reinstating their primary membership, a party press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said.
 
The release said the party has decided to withdraw the expulsion orders and restore the primary membership of the leaders following applications submitted by them.
 
The seven leaders were expelled from the party on the allegation of violating party discipline and involvement with the activities against the party’s policy and ideology.
 
The reinstated leaders are- Fakhruddin Ahmed Bacchu, former member of the party’s BNP National Executive Committee, Rakibul Uddin Sarker Pappu, former senior joint convener of Gazipur Metropolitan chapter, Nurul Amin, former joint convener of Chattogram North District unit; Ruhul Amin Dulal,  former convener of Mathbaria Upazila (Pirojpur) unit; Tahmid Faisal Chowdhury Comet, former president of Jaldhaka Upazila (Nilphamari); Mokarram Hossain Sujan, former member of Rangpur District unit and Md Ali Sarker, former Member of Rangpur District unit.
