DHAKA, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) - Women and Children Affairs Secretary Mamtaz Ahmed today called upon the women at grassroots level to make them self-reliant by getting necessary training.
“Women at the grassroots can built them as self-reliant through getting required trainings,” she said while inspecting training centre and sale centre of a project undertaken for making the grassroots level women economically solvent at Shahjalal Uposhor in Sylhet.
She said many women made them financially solvent after taking the training and created job opportunities for others.
“So, don’t sit idle in houses after taking training rather try to make yourselves as successful entrepreneurs to create position in the society and contribute for the welfare of the country,” she added.
The Secretary gave the trainees various advices to infuse dynamism among them to be entrepreneurs.
Concerned government officials were present.
