DINAJPUR, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) – BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain today said the countrymen will resist if anyone tries to run the country in a dictatorial manner again.

"Through the mass uprising, students and the people have driven the fascists out of the country. The people of the country have learned how to throw them out,” he said while addressing a meeting organized by the Juba Dal district unit, marking the 47th founding anniversary of the organization at the Institute Ground here.

Dr. Zahid said conspirators are still trying to hatch plots. “Conspiracies are being hatched against the independence and sovereignty of the country. But the countrymen will never allow them to succeed.”

District Juba Dal unit convener AKM Masudul Islam Masud chaired the meeting, while member secretary Rezaur Rahman Reza conducted it.

BNP district unit President Md. Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, Senior Vice President Md. Mokarram Hossain, Vice President Khalequzzaman Babu, and others also addressed the meeting.

Earlier, a colorful rally was held in the district town on the occasion.
