DHAKA, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP’s) Mohammadpur police station in an overnight drive arrested 10 individuals as part of a special anti-crime campaign under its jurisdiction.

Mohammadpur police station’s officer said that they netted the 10 people on charges of various crimes like mugging, drug trading and theft in their latest drive carried out by several teams.

According to a press release issued by DMP’s media and public relations division, the suspects were produced before a Dhaka court.

It said the arrested are Ridoy (22), Masud Rana (28), M Rahman Chowdhury (49), Bulu (25), Nasir (28), Belal (24), Shamim (33), Saiful (32), Firoz (28) and Imran (18), the release said. 

DMP’s media and public relations division said that the arrested include accused, facing regular cases and involved in various crimes.

They were produced before the court, it added.
