RAJSHAHI, Nov 1, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced the 14-member new Rajshahi city committee (partial) today.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed informed this through a press release.

Mamun Or Rashid and Mahfuzur Rahman Roton have been made president and General Secretary respectively of the new committee.

Nazrul Huda was named as senior vice-president, while Aslam Sarker, Waliul Haque Rana, Advocate Ali Ashraf Masum, Shafiqul Islam Shafique, Abul Kalam Azad Sweet, Mukter Hossain and Joynal Abedeen Shiblyh as vice-presidents.

Bazlul Huda Montu and Rabiul Islam Milu have got the responsibilities of organizing secretary in the new committee. Apart from this, there are two executive members. They are: Advocate Ershad Ali Isha and Advocate Mainul Ahsan Panna.

BNP sources said the new committee has been formed to make the party well-organized and strengthen its functions ahead of the upcoming national election.

They also hoped that the party activities will be expedited and dynamic through the new leadership.

The committee has been constituted after around two months of biannual council of the city BNP.
