Monju for bringing changes in political culture

DHAKA, Nov 2, 2025 (BSS) - AB Party Chairman Mojibur Rahman Monju today said 
they will build their party in such way that will be alternative force to 
fascism.

"We want to bring changes in the country's political culture. We will build 
our party in such a way that will be an alternative to fascism and where 
people can keep their trust," he said.

Monju was speaking at a discussion titled "Reform and Political Challenges of 
Electoral Unity in a Society of Low Trust" held at the Dhaka Reporters Unity 
auditorium this morning. 

Bangladesh Rashtra Sangskar Andolon and AB Party, and UP Bangladesh jointly 
organized the discussion.

Advocate Hasnat Kayum, president of Bangladesh Rashtra Sangskar Andolon, 
presided over the event. 

Dr Mushtaq H Khan, Professor at SOAS University of London and a noted 
political thinker and economist, was keynote speaker.

UP Bangladesh convener Ali Ahsan Junayed, JSD General Secretary Shahid Uddin 
Mahmud Swapan, Rashtra Sangskar Andolon General Secretary Syed Hasib Uddin 
Hossain, AB Party Senior Vice Chairman Major (Retd.) Prof. Abdul Wahab Minar, 
UP Bangladesh Member Secretary Arefin Md. Hizbullah, AB Party Joint General 
Secretary Barrister Zobayer Ahmed Bhuiyan, Rashtra Sangskar Andolon Joint 
General Secretary Didar Bhuiya, and UP Bangladesh Chief Organizer Naeem 
Ahmad, among others, also spoke.
