DHAKA, Nov 9, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 40 leaders who were either expelled or had voluntarily resigned from BNP’s different units across the country got back their positions in the party.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Rizvi in a press release said leaders who were expelled from all levels of the party, including their primary membership, for violating the party's decision by participating in the last Sylhet City Corporation elections, have been given back their positions in the party.

Based on their appeals and a subsequent party decision, their expulsion orders have been revoked and their primary memberships have been reinstated today, said the press release.

Joint Convener of BNP’s Tetulia Upazila unit in Panchagarh district Sultana Razia who had previously left the party voluntary on personal reason, has got back her primary membership upon application.
