DHAKA, Nov 11, 2025 (BSS) – ‘July Oikyo’, a coalition of organisations formed based on the July Uprising, has declared a sit-in programme on the day of “Dhaka lockdown” programme called by Awami League (AL), whose activities have been banned in the country, on November 13.

Chief organizer of the ‘July Oikyo’ Mosaddeq Ali Ibne Mohammad announced the programme this noon at a press conference at Dhaka University’s Madhur Canteen.

Mosaddeq said they will hold protest processions in Dhaka, Chattogram, Barishal and Sylhet, demanding the death penalty of Sheikh Hasina and the implementation of the “July National Charter.”

“Even one year after the July Uprising, still we need to discuss the issue of killer and militant organization named Awami League. This is truly unfortunate,” he added.
