22 more suspected saboteurs arrested in city

DHAKA, Nov 11, 2025 (BSS) - In the intensified crackdown across the capital against suspected saboteurs, Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested 22 more leaders and activists of the now-disbanded Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organizations in the last 24 hours. 

They were apprehended on charges of plotting and financing the sudden processions and subversive acts across the country, DB officials confirmed.

Several mobile phones including voice records were seized from their possessions during the operations. 

During the initial interrogation, detainees confessed that they were planning to do subversive act and bring out sudden processions to make successful the Dhaka lockdown on November 13, officials confirmed.
