DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today imposed a travel ban on Kazi Hasan Sharif, managing director of Alliant Energy Solutions, over graft allegations.
 
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Faiz passed the order following a plea filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). 

According to the petition, an inquiry is underway against Kazi Hasan Sharif over allegations of illegally siphoning off around Taka 2,000 crore abroad. It said that credible sources indicated he might flee the country to avoid investigation. 
 
"Therefore, in the interest of a fair and effective probe, a travel ban should be imposed on his immediately," it added.
