4 crude bombs defused after seizure from EC Secretariat compound

DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS) - Police today seized four crude bombs from inside the compound of the Election Commission Secretariat at Agargaon in the capital.

Police seized the crude bombs from the garden of the EC Secretariat around 11 am today, Officer-in-Charge of Sher-e-Banglanagar Police Station Emaul Haque told BSS this evening. 

 Later, the bomb disposal unit arrived and defused those in the field next to the China-Maitree Conference Centre.
