
DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS) –Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has called for strict measures against terrorists, extortionists and political miscreants to maintain peace and stability in the country.
Speaking at a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club here, Central President Zahidul Islam said in a written statement that the organization remains committed to upholding Islamic values and the ideals of the July revolution, warning that students and the public would resist any attempt to disrupt law and order.
Shibir leaders also criticized slow trials of banned Awami League leaders and activists and recent violent acts, including arson attacks on over 15 buses, claiming such activities spread panic among the public.
The press briefing was attended by Secretary General Nurul Islam Saddam, central office secretary Sibgatullah, publicity secretary Azizur Rahman Azad and other leaders.
