Two sent to jail over torching of abandoned train coach in Tejgaon

DHAKA, Nov 13, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today sent two persons to jail in a 
case lodged over setting fire to an abandoned train coach at Tejgaon Rail 
Station in the capital.
 
The two accused are-- Md Morshed Ali and Jakir Hossain.
 
Dhaka Senior Judicial Magistrate Victoria Chakma passed the order as police 
produced the two accused before the court and pleaded to keep them behind 
bars till the end of the probe in the case.
 
Morshed and Jakir were caught red-handed as they were torching the abandoned 
coach at the station. Police later filed the case under the Special Powers 
Act.
