DHAKA, Nov 13, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested a total of 1,923 crime suspects across the country, including the capital Dhaka, in an special drive over the past 24 hours.

Among them, 1,072 were wanted in various cases and warrants, while 851 were arrested for other criminal charges, said AIG (Media and Public Relations) of the Police Headquarters A.H.M. Shahadat Hossain.

Additionally, law enforcers seized one shotgun (12-bore), two foreign pistols (9mm), two magazines, six rounds of ammunition, ten cartridges, one knife, one machete, one ramda (large knife), one Burmese dagger, and 19 petrol bombs.
