KHULNA, Nov 15, 2025 (BSS) - Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliament member Mia Golam Parwar today said that the nation could face severe consequences if the upcoming national election is conducted in the same manner as the 2014, 2018 and 2024 polls.

Speaking at a roadside gathering following the inauguration of a motorcycle rally at Zero Point in Khulna this morning, Parwar called on the administration to ensure a neutral and transparent election process.

He emphasized the need for an election free from black money influence, saying that voters have pledged to support his party's symbol to promote peace.

The motorcycle rally passed through several local areas before concluding at Shiromoni Shaheed Minar with a brief gathering.

Local leaders and party activists joined the event, which took on a festive atmosphere.
