Chhatra Dal holds campaign for Tarique Rahman in Bogura

BOGURA, Nov 15, 2025 (BSS) - The Bogura district unit of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal today organized a campaign and procession in support of BNP's nominated candidate Tarique Rahman for the Bogura-6 constituency ahead of the upcoming national elections.

The campaign, held in the Colony Bazaar area of Bogura city, saw Chhatra Dal leaders and activists engaging with local residents while promoting Tarique Rahman under the party's election symbol, the 'Sheaf of Paddy'.

Aiming to ensure a strong victory for Tarique Rahman, leaders and activists, joined by youth representatives, energized the area with slogans supporting the 'Sheaf of Paddy'. 

The procession, led by Chhatra Dal district president Habibur Rashid Sandhan and general secretary M R Hasan Palash, also distributed campaign leaflets among the public.

Leaderrs and activists highlighted that Bogura, the birthplace of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, is witnessing growing support for the 'Sheaf of Paddy' across all segments of society. 

They urged voters in the Bogura-6 and Bogura-7 constituencies to vote for Tarique Rahman and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia in the forthcoming elections.

At a brief roadside meeting in Colony Bazaar, Chhatra Dal district president Habibur Rashid Sandhan addressed the crowd, saying, "This election is about restoring democracy and securing the people's right to vote. Electing the candidate with the 'Sheaf of Paddy' symbol will restore the people's rights."

He added that public enthusiasm is high and the vision of electing Tarique Rahman as Prime Minister through a strong win in Bogura-6 is steadily becoming a reality.
