DHAKA, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) - In a daylong special operation on Monday, police arrested 13 individuals involved in various criminal activities across the Mohammadpur area of the capital.

During the drive, police targeted both-- regular case accused and individuals with outstanding warrants, said Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman. 

He said the arrested have been identified as Bunia Sohel (35), Sunny (22), Zihad (19), Shakil (22), Parvez (23), Rony (39), Shahidul Islam (40), Ali Hossain Sunny (27), Sabbir (18), Sumon (23), Sabbir (21), Ramjan (23) and Atka (19).

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mohammadpur Police Station Kazi Md Rafique Ahmed said that all the detainees were produced before the court after legal proceedings.

The special operations will be continued to maintain law and order smooth in the area, he added.
